you know the books where the words blur together and you can’t understand what’s happening? Those are the books a leader needs to read. How To Digest Books Above Your “Level” And Increase Your Intelligence

I was talking to a friend in publishing recently and found out that the category of people that they almost aren’t even bothering with is men in the 20 – 40 bracket.

They just don’t buy books.

That makes me sad. There is so much good to be pulled from books. Books have changed my business for the better. Without the learning I did when reading, I wouldn’t be able to coach people like I do now.

You’d get much poorer service.

Without reading books, I’d be a much worse parent. My marriage would be way behind where it is now.

My life is as good as it is because I read and then work to put the good stuff into action.

To add to Ryan Holiday’s suggestions above, get How to Read a Book. I’m beginning to lose track of the people I look up to that tell me they read How to Read A Book and felt that most of their reading before was wasted.

Have an awesome day!
