No matter how many personal productivity techniques you master, there will always be more to do than you can ever accomplish in the time you have available to you, no matter how much time it is. – Eat That Frog1

Your inbox will continue to fill up with the stuff others think is important for you.

You will always have more books to read than you have currently on your list. Even if you doubled your reading, you’d find more interesting books to read and the list would grow.

Something around the house will always break down. It’s a never-ending project to keep it in tip-top shape.

So, decide it’s okay to suck at some stuff. I decided that I’m going to suck at email. I try to clear it out on Friday, but if it doesn’t happen, I don’t worry about it. The email isn’t going anywhere. I can deal with it in another week.

The failure of so much productivity advice is that it assumes that you can ‘finish’. You can’t, and you’re going to have to learn to be okay with that.

Have an awesome day

PS: I give you permission to choose something right now and suck at it all week. Unless your spouse says no, then you have to pick something else because your partner is right and I’m wrong about that thing.
