I follow a lot of RSS feeds. There are a bunch for WordPress, so that I can keep up on the industry news, and any decent tutorials. Then I’ve got Cycling related news and views. I’ve found that VeloNews covers the cycling world well enough that it’s the only site I really need for cycling. Then I’ve got all the business and tech stuff like shawnblanc.net, The Apple Blog and The Supersite for Windows.

Some days that ends up with a daunting list of articles to go through, many of which I’m not going to read. Take The Supersite as an example. I don’t really care about the screenshot tour of Microsoft Office, but I do want to see the updates on Windows 8 and Windows Phone.

Typically I’ve dealt with the daunting list by simply pruning my feed list every couple months. While this does work, I always feel like I’m missing good articles on sites that didn’t make the cut.

I’ve been looking around for a solution, and Fever seems like the best solution. I have been hearing about it for a while, but after reading about how to use it to use it I need to actually put it on my list of tasks to do.

See you can’t just try Fever, you have to install it on your server. I build websites for a living so this is something I am entirely capable of, but as with everything time is a finite resource.

Is anyone else using Fever? Good? Bad? Should I make the time sooner rather than later?
