CareerEdge LLC provides job search help for clients during this tough job market. They help with interview prep, resume writing, and helping you establish your career direction. The site was designed in Photoshop and is built with WordPress. The content slider uses the Dynamic Content Gallery plugin for WordPress and the contact forms are powered by the amazing Gravity Forms plugin. I designed and built the site for CareerEdge LLC while sub-contracting for E. Webscapes.
Fraser Valley Whitewater
Fraser Valley Whitewater is the leading site for whitewater paddling news in the Fraser Valley of BC. The recent redesign of FVWW focused on presenting more articles to users. The redesign doubled the pageviews on the site and noticeably increased the time spent on the site by users. Built on WordPress with YARPP to pull related posts. We also added a bbPress forum and did a deep integration so users are shared between bbPress and WordPress.
Criminal Defence Ottawa
Criminal Defence Ottawa was built for Auger Hollingsworth on WordPressMU. WordPressMU was picked because this is the first of a number of planned niche sites. We relied heavily on css-sprites to make sure that we have as fast a site as possible. We also integrated the site with the CRM software Infusionsoft. A number of custom loops run on many of the pages to ensure that management of the site is kept to as short amount of time as possible. WordPress categories were leveraged to pull recurring content into pages specific to that content.
Passionlane.de
Passionlane helps store owners sell subscriptions to their products. If you are have a magazine and need monthly recurring subscriptions this is your answer. For this project I provided the design and the original HTML/CSS templates and built the blog on WordPress. Passionlane then integrated my design into their Ruby on Rails backend. I also provided a store design template for them to use in marketing material.

Christopherdessi.com is a blog on Social Media run by (yeah it’s obvious) Chris Dessi. This was our second project together (Dadzillatv was the first). This time around we started with the Thesis WordPress theme and made some modifications to give it a unique look. Read the whole blog post.
WITA
WITA is a site dedicated to comics video games and pop culture. The design of this was highly collaborative (site owner did a lots of Photoshop work). Read the full blog post on the project.
Dadzillatv
Dadzillatv is a site for dads by dads. Dads don’t take enough pride in being dads and Christopher Dessi gives them a place to take pride in fatherhood. For this site we used WordPress to power the blog and linked up to many of Chris’ social network profiles. Go check out his passionate introduction video if you’re a dad.

Fraser Valley Whitewater is the leading site for whitewater paddling news in the Fraser Valley of BC. This was the first custom design for Fraser Valley Whitewater. They moved to WordPress so that future site growth remains easy while content entry is still accessible to all levels of web user.
